Aldus PageMaker, the Font/DA Mover and System 6. Do either of those sound familiar? Probably not, but that's OK. If they do, then I mention those two applications and one operating system to give some relevance to my experience.
After graduating from The College of William & Mary with a studio art degree and a brief independent study in Florence, Italy, I began a career in design and publishing in 1990, using hardware which was essentially a hamster wheel attached to a grayscale monitor.
Next up: Overseeing a pre-press service bureau (film); four completely enjoyable years of agency work; six-plus years as Art Director for a public company; and the last 14-plus years here at JRD.
Regarding the samples I have presented here, they comprise a large portion of that spectrum (probably starting at yellow then through to violet). If you don't see something on this site that serves as an example of your needs, please ask. There's a very good chance "I have one in the back..."
I have references from every stage of my professional career and there's nothing I enjoy more than working with (or for) interesting, capable and friendly people of all ages and backgrounds.
A good day is when I meet someone new or learn something new. A great day is when I do both.
